KAWANISHI TAKUMI has been cast in the Wednesday 10pm drama series "Political Pan," which will air on Fuji TV from Wednesday, October 7th, 2026 (every Wednesday from 10:00 PM to 10:54 PM).

This film is a phantom thief entertainment story in which Yayoi Kisaragi, a female Lupin, infiltrates the political world and steals money from the dark underbelly of politics, stealing both money and hearts.

KAWANISHI plays Hanazono Ginji, the nephew of Natsume Masakado (Takahashi Issei), the ruling party's treasurer and member of parliament. His uncle, Natsume, looks out for him, and although Ginji is uninterested in politics, he ends up working as Natsume's private secretary in Nagatani-cho, the political heart of Nipponia. At times, he may even be working behind the scenes at Natsume's direction…?

I'm KAWANISHI TAKUMI, and I'll be playing the role of Ginji. He's the nephew of Natsume, played by Takahashi Issei, and works as his secretary. He goes back and forth between Yayoi and Natsume, and hangs around Natsume a lot. It's a great honor to be working with such wonderful people, and I'll do my best to learn as much as I can and contribute to the production in any small way I can.
